Due to the rising water level of the Ganga, the road built on the banks of Kataiya Ghat collapsed. After this incident, the problems of the local people have increased. People living on the banks of the Ganga are getting worried seeing the rising level of the Ganga. They say that the reason for the collapse of the road is erosion. Local people say that due to the rising water level of the Ganga river and rapid erosion, the wall standing in support of the road fell into the river. Even after the wall fell, erosion continues, due to which the road built on the banks of Kataiya Ghat collapsed. In view of the rapid erosion of the Ganga river, the local people have fenced the area with bamboo so that people cannot come and go towards the erosion.
